Bank of Moscow Implemented Acquiring of China UnionPay Cards
OREANDA-NEWS. August 3, 2009. The Bank of Moscow has implemented acquiring of plastic cards of China UnionPay payment system (CUP). Now holders of China UnionPay cards may draw cash money in all ATMs of the Bank of Moscow. A one-time debiting is limited by the sum of RUR10 thousand or USD300. The Bank of Moscow does not charge an additional bank commission when drawing funds from China UnionPay cards.
"China UnionPay is a national payment system in China with the total emission of more than one billion cards. China UnionPay unites 157 Chinese banks and a few dozens of banks around the world. CUP plastic cards are admitted in the US, Germany, France and some other countries. Records of China UnionPay show that more than one million Chinese tourists and businessmen visited Russia in 2008. So we are sure that the new service will be popular. We plan to organize acquiring of China UnionPay cards in the sales and service network of the Bank as the next stage of this project", Pavel Gorbatsevich, Vice President of the Bank of Moscow said.
