OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2009. Branch of JSC “Engineering Center UES” - “Firm ORGRES” – is actively upgrading and introducing microprocessor speed governors for turbosets. Rpm governors are manufactured by “Firm ORGRES”. Recently, upgrades of rpm governors was completed for turbo set №2 of Iranaiskaya HEPP of OАО “RusHydro” , including the upgrades of electric hydraulic column.

Replacement of worn out and outdated equipment, upgrades of hydro set regulation and control system is one of activity fields of “Firm ORGRES”. The introduced governors represent the latest generation units based on microprocessors (they replaced analog integrated circuits). They are more reliable and efficient in operation, and are directly integrated into automatic process control system.

“Firm ORGRES” has an impressive experience in this area – references include projects at Matkozhnenskaya HEPP (ОАО “Karelenergo”), Kureiskaya HEPP (ОАО “Taimyrenergo”), Zhigulyovskaya HEPP (ОАО “RusHydro”), Skhodnenskaya HEPP (ОАО “Moscow Canal”) and other hydro power facilities.

Currently work is in progress at ОАО “RusHydro”: upgrades of rpm governors at turbo unit #1, Iranayskaya HEPP, at 8 hydro units of Nizhegorodskaya HEPP and at turbo unit # 6 and 9 of Zhigulyovskaya HEPP.
