Production of Electric Power at CHPPs for 1H of 2009 Reduced
OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 July 2009 was announced, that electric power stations, comprising the JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”), in the first half-year period of this year have produced kWh 10 bill of electric power – on kWh 822 mil less than in similar period of 2008. The volume of production has reduced by three reasons. Firstly, due to the drop of electric power consumption. Secondly, it is rubbed off the changes in the order of determination by the System Administrator of UES of Russia the technical and technological minimum of loading the power station equipment, and thirdly, the higher impound of water reservoirs of the Far Eastern HPS due to high spring water flood and continues rains. Due to the last two reasons the load on the row of CHPPs of JSC “FEGC” has been reduced.
The more drastic drop of power consumption for six months of 2009 has been detected in Khabarovsk krai (on 6.8%) and in the south of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (on 11.5%), where due to crisis considerably suffered large industrial consumers (Amursky Shipyard, Amurmetall, Yakutugol and others).
In less extent, than expected on the results of the first half year (on 3.5% against 5.5%), has decreased the production of electric power at CHPPs in Primoriye. The reason of this is revival of industry (particularly Spasskcement, Polymetall) in the south of krai in May and June of this year. The increased demand has been fully covered by JSC “FEGC” despite of the started repairs of electric grid. For this purpose there has been redistributed the load between the electric power stations, put into operation mobile GTES, which have been installed at the end of 2008 at Vladivostokskaya CHPP-1 specially for covering peak loads.
Increase of electric power production at thermal power stations of JSC “FEGC” as of the first half of the year is detected only in Amurskaya oblast. It has been increased not only as compared to 2008 (on 5.5%), but as compared to plan (3.2%) The situation is explained by large heating load at Blagoveschenskaya CHP in the heating season and putting into operation more powerful, than used earlier power equipment at Raichikhinskaya TPP. Blagoveschenskaya CHPP, in addition, has provided necessary capacity reserve for fulfillment of export of electric power to
Heat power in this period has been sold on 2.1% more than in the last year and nearly on 3% more than planned. It is connected with cold and long winter in the entire south of the
