On 31 July 2009 was announced, that since August 6, 2009, JSC BTA Bank will temporarily withdraw from the Agreement on formation of KazPrime indicator on Kazakhstani interbank deposits.  Such decision is related to the necessity to complete the debt restructuring procedure and shall not affect current operational activities of the Bank.  

At present Bank’s performance is normal:  services its customers, issues loans to both legal entities and individuals ensuring for this an adequate liquidity level.  At the same time the Bank together with financial and legal advisers is actively working on debt restructuring plan as well as on collection and debt recovery.

KazPrime indicator reflects average value on cash placement rates (KZT) on interbank market deposits among the banks with best credit quality for Kazakhstan.  Indicator is calculated on a daily basis by KASE.  Each quotation includes attraction and deposit placement rates to the deposit of one of the Parties of the Agreement as well as cash attraction and placement volumes.  Minimum quotation volume is KZT150 million.
