OREANDA-NEWS. On July 29, 2009 the President of the Republic of Belarus approved the draft intergovernmental agreement with Croatia on trade and economic cooperation as the basis for further talks, reported the Official website president.gov.by.

The conclusion of this agreement will help create a legal framework and mechanisms for protecting he interests of Belarusian producers and exporters, promote the mutually advantageous forms of cooperation between Belarus and Croatia.

Vasily Dolgolyov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, concurrently accredited as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the Eurasian Economic Community, has been authorised to hold the talks and sign the agreement.
