OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2009. The 8th Arbitration Appeal Court confirmed validity of the decision and determinations issued by the Commission of the Tyumen OFAS Russia regarding "Lukoil-Uralnefteproduct" OJSC, "Gazprom Neft-Tyumen" OJSC and "Azs-N1" Ltd. Earlier, the Tyumen Regional Arbitration Court also supported the OFAS position, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

In October 2008, the Tyumen OFAS Russia found that "Lukoil-Uralnefteproduct" OJSC, "Gazprom neft-Tyumen" OJSC and "Azs-N1" Ltd.

In January-July 2008 the companies fixed and maintained the same prices for oil products (petrol (grades AI-76(80) and AI-95(96)) and diesel fuel) in Tyumen and the Tyumen region. Based on its decision, the Antimonopoly Office issued determinations to the companies instructing them to restore competitive conditions.

Experts of the Antimonopoly Office discovered the fact of price collusion by weekly monitoring wholesale and retail prices at service stations in Tyumen and the Tyumen region.
