OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2009. Following the results of the open tender, ROSNO's Udmurtian branch has concluded three insurance contracts with one of the largest pig farming companies of the Udmurtian Republic, Kigbayevsky Bacon Ltd. The insurance coverage applies to the farm animals, equipment and special machinery owned by the producer, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Almost 20 thousand animals (sows and piglets younger than 4 months) have been insured against the following risks: loss, forced extermination of insured livestock as a result of infectious diseases; fire; natural disasters; accidents; unlawful/malicious third-party acts; and stealage (theft, robbery and brigandage) within the insured area. The aggregate insurance amount for all animals is 98,523,362 roubles.

The second contract contemplates insurance protection of the mixed fodder production equipment and cattle extermination equipment for 44,959,088 roubles. The insurance compensation will be paid in case of the equipment damage or loss due to fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact; storm and hail; other natural disasters, damage by water from water supply, heating, sewage and similar systems; burglary, robbery, brigandage; and deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property.

The contract also provides insurance coverage against similar risks in the amount of 10,324,000 roubles for 18 units of the company's special machinery: combine harvesters and trailer trucks.
The concluded contracts will be valid for 1 year.
