Almaty Regional SIEC Started Proceeding on Transstroimost Bankruptcy
OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2009. Accumulative pension fund BTA Kazakhstan subsidiary of BTA Bank (Almaty, hereinafter - APF BTA Kazakhstan) provided to KASE the copy of statement of claim to Almaty Regional Specialized Inter-district Economic Court (SIEC) to recognize Transstroimost (Almaty Region) a bankrupt, reported the press-centre of KASE.
In the statement APF BTA Kazakhstan indicates that Transstroimost over three months fails to fulfill obligations, stipulated by the issue prospectus of its bonds KZ2CKY05B950 (KASE official list Non-rated Debt Securities first subcategory, TSSMb1; KZT100, KZT5.0 bn; April 6, 06 - April 6, 11, the semi-annual coupon indexed at the inflation rate, 11.20 % APR for the current coupon period), on a penalty payment for delay of interest payment for the sixth coupon period on mentioned bonds.
In addition, APF BTA Kazakhstan submitted to Almaty Regional SIEC the copy of Transstroimost application on recognition it a bankrupt due to insolvency and application of a rehabilitation procedure. Almaty Regional SIEC commenced an action on Transstroimost bankruptcy by the conclusion of July 13, 2009 based on the company application.
According to Almaty Regional SIEC conclusion of July 14, 2009, also provided to KASE by APF BTA Kazakhstan, the application of APF BTA Kazakhstan was attached to the action on Transstroimost bankruptcy for simultaneous consideration.
Upon receipt of the letter from APF BTA Kazakhstan, where is notified on submitted statement of claim, on July 22, 2009 KASE sent to Transstroimost an official request to provide an information on this trial and till the present time did not receive any answer.
