The exhibition presents the archives of the President of the Russian Federation, the materials of the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the Archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Central Archives of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the archives of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and VNIIEF.

The Harry Truman Library has provided an excerpt from the notebook of US President Harry Truman.

The documents reflect the history of the nuclear power industry of the USSR.

The exhibition was opened by the director of the State Archives of the Russian Federation S.Mironenko. In his speech Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko pointed out that the creation of the first nuclear bomb was a big step forward. This project laid the foundations of the national nuclear industry.

Besides documents, photos and videos about the nuclear project, the exhibition presents archives about His Holiness Seraphim of Sarov and the Sarov Monastery.
