OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2009. Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation launched a web-site for the information centers for nuclear energy at http://centers.atomexpo.ru

The web-site contains detailed information about the activities of the centers, their planned and past events, contacts and schedules. Here you can apply for visiting any of the existing centers. The site has a special page for potential partners and sponsors.

As of now Rosatom has three information centers for nuclear energy in Tomsk, Voronezh and Moscow but is planning to shortly open similar facilities in Murmansk, Kaliningrad and Rostov-on-Don. The operator of the project is Atomexpo OJSC. 

Over 15,000 people have visited the centers so far – 80% of them were schoolchildren. They made a virtual tour of the World of Nuclear Energy with the help of modern 3D multimedia technologies.

During the week the centers receive corporate visitors, while on Sundays they are open to individuals and families. The admission is free.
