OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 July 2009 was announced, that. ОАО МPК "Aganneftegazgeologia"  (the subsidiary enterprise of OJSC Oil and Gas Company  "RussNeft")  realizes a program of exploitation drilling at Mogutlorskoye oilfield (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra, Western Siberia). It was resolved to start drilling of exploitation wells. Drilling equipment is being installed in the oilfield. Investment project of Oil and Gas Company "RussNeft" is estimated at more than 300 million Rubles.

Mogutlorskoye oilfield has been on stream since 1999. In 2008 within the scope of exploitation works ОАО МPК "Aganneftegazgeologia" has re-activated well № 288-П.  After the formation test UV 1 there was received dry crude oil influx with an average daily production rate of 80 tons.

It’s planned, that new directional wells 3000 m in depth will strike oil-saturated strata UV 1 and UV 2.

Commissioning of new wells will allow the enterprise to significantly increase hydrocarbon production.
