OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 July 2009 was announced, that Interpipe NTRP mill (Dnepropetrovsk) had successfully passed the planned supervision audit of the Environmental Management System (EMS) according to the international standard ISO 14001:2004. The testing was made by the audit commission TUV Rheinland Ukraine.

All aspects of the EMS were subject to the audit, in particular the implementation of processes and procedures taken by the Company, observation of the requirements of legislative and permitting documents, correct maintenance of Ecological Managing System documents, as well as performing all corrective events and the elimination of variances.

A report has been made following the results of the audit. The report proves that the operating Environmental Management System conforms fully to the demands of international standard ISO 14001:2004 and contributes to make flexible and operational decisions concerning the questions of environmental protection in the Dnepropetrovsk region, city and at the Interpipe company. 

Implementation of the Environmental Management System began in 2004. The certificate of compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 standard was received in July 2005.
