OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 July 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh IJSC signed an insurance contract for loss of income from operation of space vehicle  "ABS-1".

The property interests of the insured person - Luxembourg company "GT Satellite Systems S.A." - were insured against loss of income from the operation of transponders at  "ABS-1".

The insurance contract covers the risk of loss of planned income under contracts for communication services with the clients of the Insured Person as a result  of  anomalous operation or loss of the satellite.

The insured amount totaled about USD  30 000 000.
