OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2009. PLC "Megabank" visited Hart Bedford, leader of IFC project on overcoming the crisis of financial market. During the day Hart Bedford met with members of the Management board and heads of bank’s divisions, to get acquainted with Megabank’s activity on dealing with problem debt of clients. IFC’s project on overcoming the crisis of financial market foresees improvement in managing the loan portfolio of problem debt in banking sphere. "The sooner the banks cope with problem loans, the sooner they get out of the crisis", – noticed Hart Bedford, reported the press-centre of Megabank.

The bank’s and IFC’s representatives have drawn the plans for further cooperation within the Project. Besides, IFC’s experts will provide Megabank with recommendations as for improvement of work with problem debt, as well as giving consultations during practical implementations by the bank of these recommendations. This stage of work is scheduled for September this year.
