OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 July 2009 was announced, that the international exhibition and scientific-practical conference titled "Health Achievements of Turkmenistan in the Epoch of Great Renaissance" started in the Exhibition Center of Ashgabat.

The Ashgabat forum brought together 139 companies, manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, leading specialists in various fields of medicine from 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

The participants of the international scientific and practical conference "Health Achievements of Turkmenistan in the Epoch of Great Renaissance" will address such topics as innovative developments in medical technology and pharmaceuticals, as well as advanced methods for treatment of various diseases.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed a welcome message to participants and organizers of the forum. He expressed confidence that the international exhibition and scientific conference will "help demonstrate the achievements of the health and medical industry of Turkmenistan to the world community and to identify ways for further development of international cooperation."
