OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 July 2009 was announced, that the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Rostov-on-Don paid to its clients over RUB 92.5mln  since the beginning of 2009. 

The Insurer settled 1517 insured events under voluntary motor insurance and paid over RUB 65.1mln to the clients. 

The largest compensation of RUB 985k was paid under motor hull  insurance to the owner of Toyota RAV 4. Besides, Ingosstrakh paid RUB 917k to the owner of Volvo XC90, RUB 909k to the owner of  Volkswagen TIGUAN, RUB 855k to the owner of Mitsubishi PAJERO SPORT. The payments were made for total loss of the vehicles. The compensation of RUB 860k was paid to the owner of BMW 3 SERIES 335i damaged in an accident, as well as RUB 730k for Lexus GS300 damaged because of an arson.

Since the start of the year, the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Rostov-on-Don settled 833 insured accidents under obligatory motor TPL insurance to the amount of over RUB 25.4mln.

 “In 2009, the number of applications for compensations under motor insurance increased as compared with the same period of 2008 - 3268 and 1841 applications, correspondingly",  said Sergey Denisenko, Director of the Branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Rostov-on-Don.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the branch paid over RUB 90mln under motor insurance.
