OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 July 2009 was announced, that according to the sixth months’ results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 2 806 815 people, which is 12,6 % less than it was during the same period in 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries had a total enrolment of 1 217 873 people, which is 13,4 % less than the number of passengers carried during the first six months in 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 1 362 171 people, which is 13,4 % less than during the same period in 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 2,6 % and had a total enrolment of 226 771 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations decreased by 12,5 % during the first six months of 2009 and had a total enrolment of 39 698 takeoffs and landings.

The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) was 1 391 775 tons, the decrease was 13,1% as compared with the same period in 2008.
