OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 July 2009 was announced, that employees of steel pipe and railway wheels producer Interpipe celebrated a professional holiday - Metallurgist Day.

The holiday at the Company mills was held in the context of the program “Interpipe: We are together” that was first organized in 2008. As part of the proceedings of Metallurgist day, souvenir gifts were distributed to all employees of the Company.

Leading representatives of the industrial facilities of Interpipe were invited to festive events at the Palace of Cultures in Dnepropetrovsk, Novomoskovsk and Nikopol. During the celebrations at the mills a “Best in profession” contest took place, which resulted in winners in each category receiving certificates and memorable gifts.

Oleg Kuzmin, Director for Corporate Affairs at Interpipe said: “It’s an honor for us to be able to recognize the Company’s most successful employees, whose professionalism and devotion to the job has been proven over time and who make the core of our workforce.
