OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2009. The Fifth Annual Partnership 2009 awards ceremony was held in Cherepovets on the eve of Metallurgists’ Day. Severstal Cherepovets Metallurgical Complex has announced the results of its annual contest for the titles "best client" and "best supplier." Companies with which Severstal has most closely and effectively cooperated in the last 12 months were acknowledged at the ceremony.

Freight One won the award in the "uninterrupted freight hauling" category.

Severstal’s Commercial Director Igor Nechayev said that, beginning this year, the winning suppliers in all the categories are becoming key suppliers of Severstal.

In the words of Freight One’s Head of Corporate Communications Pavel Pchelnikov, who attended the ceremony, "For Freight One, as a young company that is relatively new in the freight hauling market, such recognition from the country’s largest metallurgical company is the best testimony to our operational efficiency and the correctness of our chosen strategy".
