OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2009. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received CEO of Turkish Polimeks Erol Tabanja.

Greeting the Turkmen leader the guest heartily and cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 14th anniversary of the adoption of the Health National Programme and the national holiday – Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers celebrated in Turkmenistan for the first time. Mr. Erol Tabanja expressed sincere gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the opportunity to collaborate in implementing this grandiose programme, under which Polimeks had completed a number of the project including the Oncology Centre.

The businessmen said that he was proud of Polimeks’s contribution to design and construction of this unique facility. The Polimeks CEO presented the project drawing made by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov – the initiator, inspirer and organizer of the large-scale work to establish the network of modern clinics which had been recently replenished with the Oncology Centre in the country. The Turkish businessmen said that this document was a priceless relic evidencing close attention paid by the Turkmen leader to improvement of the national healthcare system as a n essential factor of the welfare and happiness of the Turkmen people.

Accepting the present and thanking for the kind words Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed firmness of the priorities of the national policy with protection of people’s health as the strategic trend. Highly appreciating Polimeks’s contribution to development of the sector the Turkmen leader expressed interest in continuing long-term cooperation the assets of which had been replenished by the Oncology Centre.

During the meeting the Polimeks CEO informed the Turkmen leader of the progress in implementing the projects in Turkmenistan. Mr. Erol Tabanja thanked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for confidence granted to the company and expressed the readiness to employ the company’s potential in full to fulfill the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan.
