OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 July 2009 was announced, that pursuant to the Order of VolgaTelecom CEO, Alexander Kurochkin was appointed company’s Deputy CEO – Director of Samara Branch. The decision on A. Kurochkin’s appointment was approved by VolgaTelecom Board of Directors.

Kurochkin Alexander Anatolievich was born on July 27, 1967 in Kuibyshev. In 1990 he graduated from Kuibyshev Electrotechnical Institute of Communication (Faculty of Radio Communication and Radio Broadcast), diploma with honours, and in 2004 he finished the Povolzhskaya State Academy of Telecommunication and Informatics, specialty of applied mathematics in economics (diploma with honours).

In 1992-2000 A. Kurochkin worked at Samara Telegraph OJSC in the capacity of electronics engineer. In October 2000 he became sales department manager at SvyazServis, a branch of Svyazinform OJSC, Samara Region, later reorganized into a branch of VolgaTelecom OJSC. February to December 2004 Kurochkin headed VIP and Corporate Customer Sales Department at the settlement and service center of VolgaTelecom’s Samara Branch. In October 2004 he went to Equant LLC, and by January 2006 he was Equant Commercial Director for Volga Macro-region. In 2006-2007 he worked as the director at Synterra CJSC in Samara. From 2007 to 2009 he was director of Comstar-Povolzhye branch.

Alexander Kurochkin entered upon the office on July 17, 2009. He replaced company’s previous Deputy CEO - Director of VolgaTelecom’s Samara Branch, who left the company in early June 2009.
