OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2009. Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP, Republic of Tatarstan), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has reported its operating results for June 2009 and 1H 2009, reported the press-centre of OMK.

In June, APP produced 12,909 tonnes of pipes of various grades and shipped 13,400 tonnes of its pipes.

In 1H09, APP produced a total of 64,866 tonnes of pipes, which surpasses the 2H08 figure by 7%.

APP shipped 67,562 tonnes of its pipes, which is 20% more than in 2H08.

In the first half of 2009, APP launched the production of shaped pipes of the following sizes: 180x180 mm and 200x160 mm, 15x15 mm, and 140x60 mm. These pipes are manufactured with wall thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm in accordance with GOST 30245-2003 and GOST 13663-86. At present, APP can produces shaped pipes in 32 sizes, with parameters ranging from 80 mm to 720 mm.
