OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2009. Cooperation of Ukraine with Libya in military-technical area gives an opportunity to make up investment projects within nearest time already.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced during the fourth sitting of Ukrainian-Libyan Cooperation Commission.

“We shouldn’t lose time now for building of military-technical cooperation as there is a perspective and possibility to conclude contracts immediately,” Yulia Tymoshenko underlined. The Head of Ukrainian Government reminded in the course of her visit to Libya in May of the current year the leadership of the country was submitted over ten draft contracts with clear propositions concerning cooperation in this area.

The Prime Minister emphasized today during the meeting with Secretary of the General People's Committee of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Al-Bahdadi Ali Al-Mahmoudi the parties achieved understanding on setting up a special group to analyze draft contracts in military-technical area.

“It gives us a chance within nearest months to get to signing of the mentioned contracts and introduce also investment projects, make purchases in military-technical domain within the scope of the projects,” the Premier stressed.
