OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2009. Following the tender results, ROSNO’s Krasnodar branch has concluded a hull and shipowner’s liability insurance contract with Kuban Cruise Ltd. for the total amount of 180 mln roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance protection covers the cruise motor vessel Azimut-85 named Destiny, owned by Kuban Cruise Ltd., a subsidiary of the large Krasnodar-based holding Black Sea Financial Company.

This vessel, insured for 80 million roubles, represents a comfortable VIP-class yacht furnished with red wood and genuine leather and carrying 12 persons. The yacht can sail with a maximum speed of 28 knots (about 52 km/h). The company-shipowner uses it for meetings, presentations and corporate recreation. The yacht Destiny has been registered in the Seaport of Sochi.

ROSNO has also insured shipowner’s civil liability for destruction of, or damage to, any other vessel or property as a result of a collision (with insurance amount of 80 million roubles) and for inflicting any harm to human life or health as a result of a collision (with insurance amount of 20 million roubles).

In total, 8 insurers had participated in this insurance tender held by Black Sea Financial Company.
