OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2009. The insurance protection under the comprehensive contract covers the construction and assembly works, after-commissioning warranty obligations and civil liability of Polo Plus Ltd. for erection of the 220 kWt substation Iren in the town Kungur, the Perm Region, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The construction and assembly works have been insured against the following risks: breakdown of pipelines or networks; installation errors, collapse or damage to the object; fire; explosion, lightning stroke; natural disasters; deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property. The insurance amount in this section of the contract is 25,842,000 roubles.

Also, the contract insures after-commissioning warranty obligations related to the insurant’s duty to reimburse the damage inflicted due to construction errors discovered during the warranty period. The insurance amount in this section of the contract is 25,842,000 roubles.

Also, the contract covers the insurant’s civil liability for damage inflicted to property, life and health of third parties in the course of construction and assembly works. The risk of harming the third parties has been insured for 2,500,000 roubles.

The contract has been concluded for one year and can be extended.
