OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 July 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ OAO Babushkina krynka, one of the largest producers of dairy products in Belarus, has brought exports of butter and whole milk products to Russia back to the pre-crisis level, a source at the dairy farm told.

The dairy ships 80 tonnes of butter and 80 tonnes of whole milk products on a daily basis. “We have managed to keep exports unchanged because of the high quality. We are the only Belarusian dairy farm exporting butter at U.S. \\$2.25-2.45 per kilo and cheese at \\$3.7 per kilo,” he said.

The dairy farm is still working on 100% upfront payment terms.

In 2008, OAO Babushkina krynka increased exports 19% on the year to \\$70 million. Investment in technical upgrade amounted to 10.7 billion Belarusian RURles (Br).
