Ukraine and Korea Inked Series of Bilateral Agreements
OREANDA-NEWS. On July 20, 2009 On the outcomes of negotiations between the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Seung-soo in Seoul a series of bilateral agreements have been signed.
In particular, in the presence of heads of governments of Ukraine and Korea were signed the following documents: Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine and Ministry of Economic Affairs of Korea in the area of use of instruments of trade protection and Memorandum of understanding between public joint stock company the National Export-Import Bank of Ukraine and Export-Import Bank of Korea.
Also, on the outcomes of bipartite understandings the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and Government of the Republic of Korea on realization of a project of founding of Ukrainian-Korean Centre of Information Technologies in the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (in the form of exchange of notes) and Memorandum of understanding between the State Administration of Railway Transport (Ukrzaliznytsya) and Huindai Corporation on cooperation in industrial production of modern movable stock were signed. The latter document, notably, envisages supplies of electric trains to Ukraine in the frames of gearing up to Euro-2012 and joint production of such trains in the future.
