OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2009. The system of business accounting of energy of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant has been successfully inspected.

During the last working meeting Deputy Director General-Director for Sales of EnergoatomConcern OJSC Alexander Khvalko pointed out the high efficiency of the system of business accounting of energy of Volgodonsk NPP and thanked the director, the chief engineer and the personnel of the plant for their professionalism.

The system was launched on Jan 1 2007 and constitutes a hardware and software complex designed for automation of the processes of collection, processing and storage of the data on the production, consumption and supply of electric energy received from power meters. The system has enhanced the efficiency of the accounting and the reliability of the data.

The information of the system is used during commercial operations on the wholesale power market.
