OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 July 2009 was announced, that Pitkaranta pulp mill is recognized the most upswing Russia's exporter in pulp-and-paper industry.

Winners of The Russia's Best Exporter competition annually held under the aegis of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia since 1998 were awarded on June 30, in Moscow at the official ceremony. The competition is hed in 17 basic industries.

Pitkaranta pulp mill joint-stock company became the winner in the nomination The Most Upswing Russia's Exporter in Pulp-and-Paper Industry. Diploma and medal to the Director General of the enterprize Z.Sorval were presented by the Deputy Chairman of the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) Mikhail Sinelin. Deputy Minister of of Industry and Trade of Russia Andrey Dementyev has told that "share of the market that the winner enterprises have managed to gain, despite of the crisis, is the index of their efficiency and viability, it is the hope for Russia's future."

Pitkaranta pulp mill joint-stock company receives the Rank of the most upswing Russia's exporter of the branch for the second time. For the first time the enterprise has been awarded with this title in 2002. It is a pleasant fact, that our efforts are appreciated both by our consumers, and at the national level.
