OREANDA-NEWS. On July 16, 2009 Executive committee of Simpheropol city council has adopted a decision about creating a unified system of accounting and payment by the population of energy resources and utility services. It was decided that in Simpheropol an Integral Clearing Center (ICC) of Megabank will be launched. It is planned that during three months the ICC will be equipped, attracted the network of existing banking institutions, post offices and other points of acceptance of utility services payments on the territory of Simpheropol, reported the press-centre of Megabank.

As is mentioned in the release, this step is taken to simplify the acceptance of utility payments  and the mechanism of charging the subsidies, as well as creating a single register of payers for energy and utility services, running operative monitoring of payments the services by the population, as well as improvement of payment discipline.

As Megbanak’s Deputy of the Chairman – head of ICC Yuriy Sergeev mentioned, the start of functioning of ICC in Crimea is a subsequent stage of development of a unique system, patented by Megbanak". In foreseeable future – establishment of ICC system on the territory of all the Crimean peninsula. ICC offices will be opened on the basis of Megabank’s Crimean central regional branch".

Integral Clearing Center (ICC) on payment of utility services has been introduced in 9 regions of Ukraine. Thru Megabank’s ICC system more than 1 million 800 thousand Ukrainian households( 12 % of all payers of Ukraine) pay for utility services. The advantages of Megabank’s ICC technology  has been adequately appraised at Ukrainian and international levels: the bank’s ICC emerged a winner of a contest "The best domestic product" in nomination "Banking, insurance, financial services", and also received a diploma of international exhibition "15 years of Commonwealth states. Cooperation and integration".
