OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 July 2009 was announced, that the first section of the highway from Veshnyaki to Lyubertsy will have been built in Moscow this year.

“The four-lane road Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy has been already under construction to ease traffic flow in eastern and southeastern Moscow. The route will go under the MKAD highway encircling Moscow and enter the city near Ryazanskoe Highway. The first section (up to the MKAD) is to be completed this year,” the head of Moscow’s Department of Road and Bridge Engineering, Aleksandr Levchenko, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

According to the official, it will take two years to have the road built completely.

Mr Levchenko added that it was also planned to renew Staroryazanskoe Highway and develop Vykhino Transit Station to improve the traffic problem in eastern and southeastern Moscow.
