OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 July 2009 was announced, that City Hall plans to have 23 parking garages built in eastern Moscow.

“We have a great problem with parking facilities here. We need to erect 23 garages, but there are still virgins lands,” Moscow’s first deputy mayor for urban design policy and development, Vladimir Resin, said on July 11.

Speaking about the housing problem in Moscow’s eastern administrative district, the official noted that the development went as planned.

“Some work is carried out ahead of schedule, some – behind. But now we have made a decision to concentrate our attention on the construction of prefabricated garages,” Mr Resin emphasized.
