OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 July 2009 was announced, that trade union organization of OAO “PO “Sevmash” - one of the oldest and largest in Russia - celebrated its 70 anniversary.

70 years is a serious and impressive date, and so the feast was solemn and fun. Official congratulations from friends, colleagues and visitors sounded for the organization and chairman of primary trade union organizations N. Shadrin. Mayor of Severodvinsk M. Gmyrin, the previous chairman of the organization N. Shevchenko, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Arkhangelsk region A. Usov, Deputy Director General of the Northern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair O. Maksimenko, and many others came out. V. Ugrumov, deputy director general of Sevmash noted, “Over the years of the trade union existence work principles and approaches changed, but activists have always protected and will protect the interests and rights of shipbuilders who worked for the benefit of the company. The Administration will continue to work with the trade union committee to provide all the benefits to workers provided by collective agreement”. Activists were awarded with diploma and gratitude for their dedicated work. Warm words and numerous gifts for the organization, bright performances and fireworks made a great mood for all.
