Ingosstrakh Offers Special Terms of Motor Insurance for Crisis
OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 July 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh IJSC developed a special new offer of motor hull insurance for owners of second-hand foreign-made cars. This is a socially significant offer that will provide adequate insurance coverage for the clients of insurance companies during the crisis.
Ingosstrakh’s new proposal will attract clients of those insurance companies whose licenses were withdrawn or suspended by the Russian Insurance Surveillance Service (Rosstrakhnadzor), as well as clients who are concerned about reliability of their insurance companies. The client will simply have to sign a motor hull insurance contract and he will be entitled to insurance services for a longer period at the price of a one-year contract and with high-quality settlement of insured events. The period of insurance will be determined for each client individually. The offer is also valid for customers who come to Ingosstrakh for the first time.
The new offer was developed by the underwriters of Ingosstrakh based on its products Premium and Autoprofi; clients will be entitled to repairs at service stations of official dealers with a certificate from the insurance company. Besides, for small additional premium, clients may purchase additional services: visit of an expert to the place of insured event, technical assistance on the road and evacuation. The main distinctive feature of the new offer is the ability to choose a program with full coverage or with a franchise that will become effective starting with the second insured event.
According to Igor Yamov, Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh IJSC, “Today, in the market, there is a dangerous trend towards dumping that can undermine financial stability of insurance companies, which will affect the way the fulfill their obligations before clients. Ingosstrakh placed its stake not on the low price of policy, but on a well-balanced tariff policy and high-quality loss settlement. Within three years, the specialists of the company studied in detail all business processes, cut operating expenses and automated the system of interaction with technical service stations, etc. As a result, we managed to streamline internal expenses of the company and ensure financial stability. The company introduced a better tariff system, which during the crisis will allow us to offer affordable products without compromising the high quality of insurance services”.
