OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2009. OGCC KazStroyService (Almaty), the listed company of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE that on July10, 2009 in Elaman village of Talgar district of Almaty Region within the official ceremony of completion of gas-welding operations of the first stage of the gas pipe "Kazakhstan-China", OGCC KazStroyService and Chinese company "CPP-Kazakhstan" completed works on sites connecting 2 gas pipe sections. Construction of the gas pipe "Kazakhstan-China" is one of the largest projects of OGCC KazStroyService, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The first stage construction completion and start of gas delivery is planned by the end of 2009. Further extension of gas pumping will be made through construction of the second stage. Both stages capacity will make up 30 bn cubic meters per year.

Delivery volumes to China will make up 13 bn cubic meters per year in 2010 and will increase to 30 bn cubic meters per year by the end of 2013.
