Estonian Webmedia Designs E-Services for Qatar
OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2009. Estonian information technology company Webmedia is working on a range of e-services starting from e-school and ending with e-health for Qatar.
"A week or so ago Webmedia Group signed a contract that covers e-governance development for one of the Arab world's fastest developing countries," chairman of the board Priit Alamae said.
The contract is worth tens of millions of kroons, but Alamae declined to disclose the exact sum.
Webmedia did not win a tender in Qatar but was picked directly. The first services are to become available next spring.
