OREANDA-NEWS. On July 15, 2009 Ingulets Ore Mining and Processing Integrated Plant (Ingulets GOK), a part of Metinvest Group, has put into operation a nine-storey residential building with 215 flats in the Ingulets region of Krivoy Rog. The house is fully ready for use and looks forward to new tenants. The total area of flats in the new house is over 12,000 sq m, living area makes around 6,400 sq m. Investment in the project made over UAH 54.9m., reported the press-centre of SCM.

Housing improvement has always been important for Ukrainians. Although this problem cannot be solved in a day, Metinvest Group enterprises successfully manage to implement large scale projects with their own funds in the regions where they operate. As part of the systematic social programme implemented at Metinvest Group enterprises, new modern flats are being built and full-scale city infrastructure developed in Krivoy Rog and in other regions in line with the best global practices of corporate social responsibility.

Despite the challenging crisis times, the new building presented by Ingulets GOK is a positive evidence of how those projects can be realized.

The new structure excels in the most modern and reliable characteristics: it has 98 one-room flats with the total area 38.21 sq m with living area of 18.16 sq m respectively; 76 two-room flats of the total area of 68.39 sq m and the living area of 38.16 sq m; and 41 three-room flats of the total area of 86.16 sq m and the living area of 56.71 sq m. All necessary service lines made of modern materials have been laid. In particular, over 2,000 m of gas network, over 73,700 m of electrical network, over 4,000 m of sewage and over 21,000 m of heating networks have been installed. The building has a modern audio intercom system.
