FAS Suspects Concerted Actions between Industrial Enterprises
OREANDA-NEWS. On 27th August 2009, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) will hear an antimonopoly case against "Rusperforator" Research-and-Production Enterprise" CJSC, "Perm Powder Works" Federal Fiscal Enterprise, "Kalinin Chemical Plant" OJSC, "Promsynthez" OJSC, "Sverdlov Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise, "Bryansk Chemical Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise and "Plastics Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise. The case was initiated upon a petition of "Sevuralboksitruda" OJSC, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
FAS Russia sees elements of antimonopoly violations in fixing the same prices for industrial explosives (ammonite 6ZhV200-diam 32mm and ammonal 200) in February-April 2009.
"Sevuralboksitruda" OJSC (of Severourtalsk) is a mining company involved in production of aluminum-bearing raw materials (bauxites) by underground technique using industrial explosives.
"Rusperforator" Research-and-Production Enterprise" CJSC, "Perm Powder Works" Federal Fiscal Enterprise, "Kalinin Chemical Plant" OJSC, "Promsynthez" OJSC, "Sverdlov Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise, "Bryansk Chemical Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise and "Plastics Plant" Federal Fiscal Enterprise are suppliers of industrial explosives.
Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" prohibits agreements between economic entities or concerted actions between economic entities on the goods if such agreements or concerted actions have resulted or can result in fixing or maintaining prices (tariffs), discounts, mark-ups, surcharges, price additions.
