OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2009. At the end of June the specialists of GOZNAK took part at the only International Scientific and Practical Conference on Security Printing held within the territory of Russia – the Watermark Conference.

It was the third time that the Watermark International Conference on Security Printing took place. In 2005 it was held in Saint-Petersburg, in 2007 in Suzdal, and in 2009 in Kazan. Over 40 specialists of the Head-Office and Branches of GOZNAK took part in the third Conference.
The presentations of the managers and specialists of GOZNAK attracted scientific and commercial interest of the Conference delegates. This year the presentations were noted for their strategic concepts of applying new developments in the field of security printing.
Thus, Andrey V. Cheglakov, Deputy General Director of Production of GOZNAK, made a report titled “Creating a closed-loop system of security document circulation”. Alexander G. Pisarev, Security Technologies Director of GOZNAK, presented “The modern concept of printed product anti-counterfeit security”, Victor S. Soldatchenkov, Head of the Instrument-Making and Integration Division of GOZNAK, described the perspectives of the complex approach to the instrumental identity control, and K. Rybin, Head of Security Technologies Department of the Perm Printing Factory – Branch of GOZNAK, explained the peculiarities of plastic documents as a kind of security printed products to the Conference delegates.
