New CEO Appointed at Central Telegraph
OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 July 2009 was announced, that by decision of the Board of Directors of Central Telegraph, which held a meeting, Igor Viktorovich was appointed as the new general director of the Company. He will begin to exercise his official duties on July 2, 2009.
The new appointment is due to the challenges associated with the upcoming restructuring of Svyazinvest, during which Central Telegraph has been assigned a major role. Central Telegraph is one of the companies controlled by Svyazinvest and ranks as one of the leading telecom operators in the
Igor Viktorovich Zabolotny has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He made his way up the corporate ladder to the position of general director. For more than seven years – from 1997 to 2004 – Igor Zabolotny worked at companies which are controlled by Svyazinvest in top management positions.
The professional experience of Igor Zabolotny, in the opinion of members of the Board of Directors of Central Telegraph, is necessary in order to solve the new tasks assigned to the company in the context of the holding’s restructuring.
