OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 July 2009 was announced, that the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Tambov signed a property insurance contract with the Federal Fiscal Enterprise “Tambov Powder Mill”. The insured amount is over RUB 167.2mln. 

Under the contract, trade stock (cartridges, 7.92x57ml) in the warehouse of the enterprise is insured against such fire risks as fire, stroke of lightning,  gas explosion, explosion of the technical equipment under pressure, natural disasters, damage by water from water supply, sewer, heating and firefighting systems; illegal acts by third parties, including theft and robbery; collision with vehicles and  fall of manned aircraft or its wreckage.

FKP Tambov Powder Mill was founded in 1915. Today, it is one of the largest manufacturers of ammunition and special chemical materials with the capacity of about 350 types of products of  military and civil purposes. About 20% of its output is exported. 

FKP Tambov Powder Mill is the main supplier of antiamour subcaliber rounds for tank artillery, and the only manufacturer in Russia of certain types of products.
