OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2009. Svetlana Epstein, legal director and Eugeniy Ivanov, legal advisor of OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation European Bureau participated in the international conference “Loss settlement in property insurance” which took place in Moscow on 7-8 July, 2009. The event was organized by Munich Reinsurance Group with the effort to attract leading foreign and Russian experts.

The conference was aimed to lighten the organizational, technical and legal aspects of large property loss settlement from a variety of angles. Specialists of Munich Reinsurance Group shared their great experience in this sphere.

Transsiberian Re has been cooperating with Munich Reinsurance Group for many years. Transsiberian Re specialists participated repeatedly in professional development training courses organized by Munich Reinsurance Group in Russia as well as in Germany.

Thus, last year, senior underwriter of European Bureau, Andrey Chibikov participated in Munich Re seminar dedicated to peculiarities of Engineering Risks insurance, after which he received the corresponding certificate. Transsiberian Re senior underwriter was the only Russian reinsurer at this seminar.
