OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 July 2009 was announced, that in the first half of 2009 the total volume of the contracts concluded with the subsidiary and dependent organizations of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” for supply of goods, works and services by national companies made up KZT 214,3 bln. or over USD 1,4 bln. In comparison with the RK macro indexes this sum is equivalent to approximately 1,5% of the country’s GDP.

Nowadays KZT 86,5 bln. were transferred to Kazakhstan suppliers according to 3 126 contracts concluded.

The remaining sum will be paid upon further implementation of the contracts in connection with the goods supplied, works performed and services delivered.

Under the activities aimed at increasing the Kazakhstan content in petroleum projects, the KazMunayGas Group of Companies concluded 215 memorandums with domestic suppliers for supply of goods, works and services for the total amount of KZT 44 bln.

Under fulfillment of an arrangement, a number of contracts have been concluded for more than KZT 35,5 bln. which makes up more than 80% from the total volume of memorandums concluded.
