OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 July 2009 was announced, that during his official visit to Ukraine, Mr.Van Gann, Member of Political Bureau of Central Committee of Communist Party of China, Deputy Chairman of All-Chinese Committee of People Political Advisory Council of Chinese People’s Republic accompanied by officials of China visited ANTONOV ASTC.

Mr.Dmytro Kiva, General Designer of ANTONOV ASTC, Chairman of Board of ANTONOV concern told guests about possibilities and perspectives of aviation branch of Ukraine. Programmes of AN-148 regional jet of a new generation and its further development, AN-74 family of multypurpose aircraft, AN-70 short take-off and landing military transport, AN-124-100 “Ruslan” heavy transport were presented to their attention. Guests expressed especial interest to the high technology developed and used in aviation industry of Ukraine.

During conducted negotiations big attention was paid to possible directions of further interaction of aviation enterprises of China and Ukraine. In conclusion, Mr.Van Gann expressed the assuarance that cooperation of the countries in aviation branch will be successfully developed.
