OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2009. Ukio bankas has prepared a special offer to all basketball fans and supporters of the legendary Kaunas team Zalgiris. From 10 July, the Bank’s clients can express their passion for basketball by acquiring a basketball fan’s payment card that will provide them with the possibility to support their favourite basketball team during competitions more frequently and ardently. A basketball fan’s payment card is a Maestro card of individual design to be chosen by the clients themselves from 4 versions offered, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

The Bank will present the first 200 basketball fans, having ordered basketball fan’s payment cards, with an accent necessary for a real fan – Zalgiris scarf, and the first 10, whose purchases with this card will amount to LTL 1,000 or more, with an annual season-ticket to Zalgiris competitions!

Ukio bankas has always actively supported Lithuanian sport and made a significant contribution to the development of various sports. In 2009, Ukio bankas became one of the major supporters of Kaunas club Zalgiris. “We have always regarded Zalgiris as the leader. We also expect its fans to have leader’s features. Therefore, our proposal is to take advantage of the offer to be the first to acquire a basketball fan’s payment card and receive presents intended for the leader,” Vitalija Cariova, interim director of Ukio bankas Marketing Department, said.

Those who are willing to acquire a basketball fan’s payment card should fill in an application via Eta bankas or at Ukio bankas branch or unit specifying the individual card design of 4 versions offered they want to acquire.

In future, too, the holders of this card will receive discounts to competitions of their favourite team and enjoy special offers from Ukio bankas. Basketball fan’s card issue price is LTL 25, for students and pensioners – LTL 15.
