OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2009. Gomel oblast’s farms have received combine harvesters produced by the Russian company Rostselmash.

The first batch of the agricultural machinery (15 combine harvesters Acros-530) was supplied to the Gomel oblast on 3 July. Some 15 machines more were supplied to the Belarusian region on 9 July.

According to Alexander Yarosh, the Russian combine harvesters have been purchased at the expense of the Agricultural Producers Support National Fund and Belarusbank’s loans. The combine harvesters were supplied to the Gomel oblast on the leasing terms which are similar to the terms established for the domestic producers of agricultural machinery.

The Russian combine harvesters will be supplied to the Kalinkovichi, Petrikov, Rogachev, Oktyabrsky, Bragin and Vetka regions of the Gomel oblast. In the near future, a half of them to start rape gathering.

Services maintenance will be carried out by specialists of Gomeloblagroservice with the participation of the Rostselmash Dealership Centre – Technocom Group. The two organizations have concluded a relative agreement.

According to specialists, during the harvesting campaign of 2009, more than 230 combine harvesters produced in the Russian Federation will be used in the Gomel oblast.
