IDGC of North-West Develops Electric Grid Complex
OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2009. Forecasting power consumption and loadings means much in the changing economic conditions, the grid company’s representatives say.
IDGC of North-West and the Northwest branch of CJSC "Agency for Forecasting Balances in Electric Power Industry" have signed a cooperation agreement devoted to development of the electric grid complex.
The parties are going to cooperate on the issues of the prospect development of electric networks, including compiling forecasts of consumption of electric energy and change of loadings in the constituent entities of the Northwest Federal District of the Russian Federation.
The information interchange on plans and programs of the territorial, social and economic development of the constituent entities of the Northwest Federal District and on the energy efficiency programs is planned to be performed.
Formation and actualization of databases of large electric energy consumers and investment projects, sites, including those related to plans of change of electric loading and power consumption of operating large consumers, new consumers, objects planned for construction, and future expansion also have great value.
The agreement provides joint carrying out of training seminars with attraction of advisers, experts of the respective profile institutes.
IDGC of North-West has created a work group for development of the Standard for Forecasting Future Change of Loading and Electric Power Supply in the Territories of the Constituent Entity of the Russian Federation. The first proceedings are planned for the near future.
