OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2009 was announced, that Director General of Sevmash met the mayor of the capital and the President of Tatarstan.

Director General of Sevmash N. Kalistratov met mayor of Moscow Yu. Luzhkov and President of Tatarstan M. Shaimiev after visiting Sevmash.

”We discussed with Yu. Luzhkov the progress of testing of atomic submarine “Yuri Dolgoruky”, as well as houses construction”, told N. Kalistratov. – The agreement on many-storied houses building for ship-builders and man-of-wars men was reached last year. As a result, Yu. Luzhkov promised to come to laying of the first house. And I invited M. Shaimiev to laying of the new multi-purposed atomic submarine. A solemn ceremony is planned on July 24, and the submarine will be named “Kazan”. The President of Tatarstan thanked for the invitation and promised to send a representative delegation if he is not able to come to Sevmash.
