OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2009 was announced, that at the Annual General Meeting, OJSC OGK-2 shareholders did not approve a major transaction. At the Shareholders Meeting, the issue of approval of the transaction (Additional Agreement to General Contractor Agreement no. 1-07ks of 14 November 2007 for performing as EPCM-contractor of turnkey construction of two power-generating units with unit rated capacity of 660 MW on the site of the OJSC OGK-2 Branch – the Troitskaya SDPP (the Troitskaya SDPP) made between OJSC OGK-2 and CJSC Kvarts-Noviye Tekhnologii.

The Board of Directors approved this transaction on 29 April 2009.
