OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2009 was announced, that Belarus-based OAO Brestskoe Pivo brewery’s output of beer decreased 12.7% year-on-year in January-May 2009 to 983,000 decaliters, a representative in the company told.

The brewery accounted for 7.3% of Belarus’ beer output, down 0.3 of a percentage point.

Mineral water output decreased 8.3% to 1.652 half-liters.

The output of soft drinks rose 16.1% to 216,000 decaliters, and grape wine output increased 16% to 29,000 decaliters.

Fruit wine production fell 12.9% to.169,000 decaliters.

Brestskoe Pivo was founded in 1967 and transformed into a joint-stock company with a state stake of 85%.
